Not All Pilates Classes Are Created Equal | Why This Matters

Pilates is having a moment! And we love it. However, not all Pilates classes are created equal.

Small Class Sizes = Personalized Attention

We are a 6-reformer studio by design.

That means:

  • You’re not one of 12–20 people competing for attention.

  • Your form is being watched and refined.

  • You receive real-time feedback and hands-on cues.

  • Your classes can be subtly tailored to you.

Whether you're brand new, returning from injury, pregnant or postpartum, or an experienced practitioner refining your practice, small-group classes allow space for personalization.

In a larger class, you get a workout.

In a small class, you get movement tailored to you.

Thoughtful Modifications for Every Body

A high-quality Pilates class should meet you where you are.

Our instructors are trained to offer:

  • Modifications for injuries

  • Safe adjustments for pregnancy

  • Intentional progressions to challenge every level of practice

Certified Pilates Instructors

Most of our instructors are comprehensively certified — meaning they’ve completed extensive training (300-500 hours) across all Pilates apparatus, not just a weekend course on the Reformer.

As a team, we’re constantly:

  • Continuing our education

  • Learning from one another

  • Refining our cueing

  • Studying biomechanics and movement patterns

  • Growing in our understanding of pregnancy, postpartum, and injury-informed Pilates

When you walk into class, you’re being guided by instructors who care deeply about your movement experience.

Industry-Leading Equipment

We use Balanced Body equipment, which is one of the most respected Pilates manufacturers in the industry.

All of their equipment is made in California and built for:

  • Durability

  • Comfort

  • Smooth spring resistance

  • Safety

High-quality equipment isn’t just about aesthetics (though it is beautiful). It directly impacts how your body moves and how safely and effectively you can perform each exercise.

What Makes A Class Great?

A great class isn’t just about how much you felt the “burn”.

It is walking into a space where you’re known by name.

Where your instructor remembers your back pain, your pregnancy trimester, or the goal you shared last week.

It’s thoughtful programming. Intentional corrections. Movement that actually supports your body.

That’s what quality should feel like.
